Overview

It’s very easy to get overwhelmed and find yourself doomscrolling on social media, binge watching, overeating, excessively sleeping etc. The cycle is self perpetuating: the more you avoid, the more daunting your responsibilities become, leading to even more avoidance.

We’re running a short experiment to change that for you (1 - 4 week)

Here’s what the experiment will look like:

You’re scrolling on instagram - our app detects you’ve been scrolling for too long - and sends a notification to a behavioral coach.

You instantly get a call from a coach (while you are scrolling). The coach will talk to you and by the end of your call (< 5 minutes):

  1. You will have stopped your current doom scrolling session
  2. You will have regained agency
  3. You will be actively working on your to-dos

The coach uses well studied methods like mindfulness, goal setting, cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, self compassion or accountability and support to make this possible
